Kingdom Asphalt is delivering a major road and infrastructure project to improve connectivity between Zallaq Highway and the Rashid Equestrian & Horse Racing Club in Sakhir. The project includes approximately 3.7 kilometres of new roads, supported by extensive excavation, earthworks, subbase preparation, road-base construction and high-quality asphalt base and wearing courses.
The wider scope also covers drainage networks, culverts, utility protection and diversions, footpaths, concrete kerbs, paving blocks, street lighting, road signs, safety measures, road markings and landscaping. Executed in accordance with Ministry of Works standards, the project will provide safer and more efficient access while supporting the continued development of one of Bahrain’s leading sporting destinations.
